As a founding member of the Universal Digital Payments Network (UDPN), GFT is playing an active role in the development of a distributed ledger technology (DLT)-powered messaging backbone to ensure interoperability between the rapidly growing number of different regulated stablecoins and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). Currently, more than 20 participants are testing the 12 proofs of concept (PoCs) available in the UDPN sandbox.
