Account Manager
The Account Manager is responsible for the account management and sales of Services into Deutsche Bank UK (specifically Capital Markets). The Account Manager is part of the Enterprise Account Sales Team and will work with the Deutsche Bank Account Director and Deutsche Bank Senior Account Manager to maximise the Services Revenue in the DB Capital Markets UK account.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Deutsche Bank Account Director and Deutsche Bank Senior Account Manager, customer teams and international delivery teams to:

Work closely with the Account Director in vendor relationship management activities

Manage resource pipelines using the near-shore and off-shore employees

Act as a point of contact for Deutsche Bank account escalations within GFT

Build long-term strategic mid to senior level relationships. Establish new contacts and manage existing relationships at all levels of IT and business management

Compose winning proposals based on business benefits, demonstrating technical competence and sound project methodology and commercial structures

Support the Account Director with business growth strategy and planning for Deutsche Bank account

Follow the lead of the Senior Account Manager for day-to-day activities.

Generate customer confidence across all staff levels and reassurance in GFT

Network across the account to uncover and proactively recommend new business opportunities for GFT

Ability to Communicate the value of GFT solutions to all levels of staff in Deutsche Bank

Work with delivery teams to develop business cases for new business within Deutsche Bank

Coordinate client events both locally and internationally (Spain and Germany)

Build strong relationships across all levels within GFT to ensure delivery and communication

Skills:

Mandatory

Educated to Degree level with commercial work experience

Broad knowledge of Investment Banking, gained from previous sales, pre-sales or consulting/project management roles

Experience in near-shore/off-shore, application development and maintenance models

A good understanding of the service delivery cycle

A proven team player

Self-motivated and capable of managing work linked to peak loads

Able to take responsibility for managing own priorities

Good communication skills - able to communicate quickly, clearly and appropriately both internally and externally to senior levels

Politically astute and sales aware

Proven ability to manage demanding and sometimes unreasonable clients

Commitment to travel and do what is required to ensure client satisfaction


Desirable

Strong technically, with an understanding of a broad range of banking technologies

Personal network within the Investment Banking community, specifically Deutsche Bank

Spanish speaking
