Joan Carles Fonoll has been Country Manager of GFT USA Inc. since 2008 where he is responsible for establishing and expanding the American subsidiary.

Joan Carles Fonoll has been with the company since 2001 after joining GFT Iberia solutions, Barcelona, from the Deutsche Bank Group. In Spain, he was originally responsible for the eSecurity Team Management with responsibility for audits, developments and consultancies. Just prior to his move to the US, Joan Carles Fonoll was responsible for the GFT Testing Competence Centre, managing all testing projects for clients in the UK, Germany and Spain. He was also responsible for the delivery of IT projects for UK customers.
 

Joan Carles Fonoll’s time at the Deutsche Bank Group involved him closely in the analysis of international IT infrastructures and the adaptation and development of IT systems.

Joan Carles Fonoll has a degree in Computer Science from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. In the final year of his studies, he also worked for Siemens, before embarking on his career at EDS in Germany, Madrid and Barcelona.
