GFT wins prestigious PICCASO Award for ESG Privacy Initiative

Stuttgart, 03 December, 2024 The PICCASO Awards Europe 2024 has proudly announced its esteemed winners, recognising innovation, excellence, and leadership in data protection across all industries.
 

PICCASO stands for Privacy, InfoSec, Culture, Change & Awareness, Societal, Organisation. The awards recognise the people making an outstanding contribution to this dynamic and fast-growing sector – from the professionals ensuring their companies meet increasingly complex legal demands to the academics and engineers pushing privacy thought leadership and innovative protections forward.

GFT won the category “ESG Privacy Initiative”. The award was given to the company’s Chief Privacy Officer, Ernst-Oliver Wilhelm, himself an already well-respected authority on data protection and privacy within the international community. He was already honoured with the distinguished IAPP Vanguard Award last year. The judges particularly appreciated GFT’s demonstration of a strong commitment to Privacy and Data Responsibility in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles with compelling evidence and recognition of its impact.
