Nick Nicholls to speak at the AFB’s annual International Banking Conference


Nick Nicholls (Principal Consultant, GFT) will be a panellist at next weeks’ AFB International Banking Conference. The two day conference will be held on the 13th and 14th of May at the Stationers Hall in London with Nick speaking at 16.10 on the first day. Nick will be speaking within a debate entitled “Intraday liquidity management overview, regulation drivers and responses.”

AFB’s now annual International Banking Conference, is a prestigious event which is aimed at the senior management of financial institutions in the foreign banking sector. The objective of the conference is to provide information on a variety of key issues which are relevant to the ways the banks in London are managed and controlled.

This conference, as before, is designed for CEOs/GMs, COOs, Risk Managers, and Treasury Support Managers, with a wide ranging remit, and also Departmental Managers with specific Operational, Trade Finance, Risk Management, Operational Risk and IT responsibilities.

Nick was recently appointed by GFT as a Principal Consultant, focussing on Business Architecture and Process Re-Engineering. Nick brings over thirty years of experience in investment banking and capital markets, working in prominent roles across front, middle and back office functions. Prior to joining GFT, Nick spent 32 years at Credit Suisse where he worked in liquidity management, collateral optimisation and business re-engineering roles. Nick has also been instrumental in creating Target Operating Models for tier 1 banks and consulting banks with their migration and entity rationalisation programmes.
