Zurich, 11. Mai 2020 – GFT, a global IT services and software engineering provider, expands its long-standing partnership with Avaloq, a global leader in digital banking solutions, core banking software and wealth management technology.
The two companies have been working together since 2011 with GFT acting as an Implementation Partner to Avaloq for its clients in Switzerland and Germany. This partnership has now been expanded to the areas of business development and sales collaboration, whereby GFT will leverage its international presence to support Avaloq to promote its fully integrated front-to-back banking software in select European markets.
Through its Zurich-based “Avaloq Competence Centre”, GFT already provides a wide range of consulting services regarding the selection, implementation and maintenance of core banking solutions. GFT has a proven track record of partnering and growing business with global solution providers, we are looking forward to building on this successful business model by introducing Avaloq’s cutting-edge technology to international banking clients.”
Marc Stähli, Head of Global Sales at Avaloq, said: “By extending our long-term partnership into business development, we underline the established trust between our two companies and recognize GFT’s well-founded expertise in consulting clients on our products and services. Through this new collaboration, we are seeking to expand our presence in the European private banking and wealth management market where we still see a strong appetite for powerful and innovative digital solutions as the industry continues to undergo a fundamental technological transformation.”
