GFT wins first place at Investors’ Darling
Significant leap in quality of investor relations and reporting helped GFT take first place among SDAX companies and 11th place overall

Stuttgart, 23 September 2024 – GFT Technologies SE (GFT) has taken first place among SDAX companies in the 2024 “Investors’ Darling” award for the best capital market communication. Among all 160 companies in the DAX family, GFT was in eleventh place. This continues GFT’s upward trajectory after the company won the third place and the recognition “Rising Star of the Year” in the 2023 competition.
As reasons for awarding the top honour for GFT, the expert jury emphasised that GFT had made a significant leap in the quality of its investor relations work and reporting.
“We continue to prioritise reliability, transparency, and long-term relationships in both our financial communications and business operations,” said GFT CFO Jochen Ruetz, upon accepting the award. He added: “Winning first place at the Investors' Darling award this year, after last year's recognition as “Rising Star of the Year”, is a testament to the progress we've made and the trust we've built with our investors. This achievement underscores the dedication and hard work our entire team brings to the table.”
As part of the competition, which is organised by manager magazin, Berenberg Bank and the HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, the jury analyses and evaluates the reporting and Investor Relations activities as well as the capital market performance of the 160 largest German companies from the DAX, MDAX and SDAX indices.
The ranking is based on a comprehensive analysis of companies' capital market communication using several hundred criteria. The dimensions of reporting, investor relations and capital market performance are covered, which is based on the share price development compared to the industry over the last three years as well as a survey of analysts and investors.
