Delivering projects, leading, building teams and gaining exposure to new exponential technologies. GFT is on the pinnacle of exponential technology and being the first to deliver a project using these new technologies is very exciting. Working in global business development gives me the chance to use everything I have learned during my career of more than 20 years working on IT customer projects all over the world. I can use this experience to do many things differently and jump quickly between a variety of tasks on the same day, from preparing or leading pre-sales presentations to planning workshops, submitting proposals with strong added value, managing projects involving both architecture and development, managing budgets, drafting or editing reports for senior management, etc. It also gives me the opportunity to learn and share experiences with our experts from both a business and technical standpoint.
At the beginning of 2019, I moved to our new Global Business Development unit to lead the operations of our CDO office. We have now built a completely new unit from scratch to support the new GFT strategy. This allows me to play to my key strengths in terms of the variety of my profile – so as well as taking care of internal tasks like managing the budgets of the unit, capacities, methodologies, processes (as lean as possible) and reports, I am also involved in external tasks with customers, dealing with issues like responding to RfPs, presales, presentations, projects, etc.
