High levels of digital transformation amongst all UK retail banks

Survey reveals all UK banks have a digital strategy in place, with 50% having it completely defined and implementation underway. This compares favourably with other countries Italy, Spain and Germany whose banks are less well advanced.

Rapid and steady growth

Bank as a Platform is experiencing rapid adoption in the UK with a focus on boosting customer engagement and leveraging the cloud as an enabler. Half of UK respondents say they have a clearly defined strategy, 27% say they have one in development.

Virtual customer assistants are leading adoption

AI forms an important part of digital transformation for UK banks, in order to meet customer expectations and reduce operational costs. Virtual customer assistants and chatbots top the list.
