Blockchain in financial services - Flexible Personalised Insurance (FPI) for the Motor Insurance industry

At 13:45 on 11 October, our very own David Creer (Technology and Innovation Lead, GFT) gave a keynote presentation in the Open Air Theatre alongside Shaul Kfir (CTO) from our partner Digital Asset. David demonstrated how permissioned DLT and cloud native technologies can be leveraged to provide a better service in the insurance market, in this working example for car insurance, from data permissioning to the application of new on-ledger automated workflows. The in-depth session included a live demo of how a smart user-driven car insurance cloud powered app would work in practice.
