Modernise core insurance systems to accelerate time to market of new products

  • One of France’s largest insurance companies wanted to transform its business core systems to be able to accelerate the time to market for new commercial auto products.
  • The new core system had to respond to the requirements of the digital era, in particular with regards to multi-channel capabilities, automation and product flexibility.
  • GFT validated that the Guidewire suite could support the insurer's future business intents and business model.

Implementation of the full Guidewire InsuranceSuite on the Cloud

  • GFT designed and leads a 3+ year full business and IT transformation roadmap
  • Multidisciplinary and agile implementation teams in France, Canada and Poland, involving project managers, insurance business experts and Guidewire/technical professionals.
  • A first release of two new commercial auto products, including an upgrade from v9 to v10, executed on a 10 months timeframe.
  • Complex environment of 220+ Integration points
  • Build new product models, Business Gap Analysis, Guidewire functional/technical training and Full inception leading to staffing and implementation plan of Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, Digital Portals, Datahub and GuidewireSuite Integration.
  • Customer Data migration projects (greenfield, customer, billing, policy, claim) using Big-bang and on-renewal approaches
  • Moved from on-premise to cloud infrastructure during implementation and currently building a DevOps practice
