Biography

From Spain to global growth leadership

Manuel Lavín has been CEO of GFT Spain since September 2021 and on January of 2025 was appointed Group Chief Executive - Central & Western Europe at the GFT Group. From 2018 to 2021, as Chief Digital Officer (CDO) he was responsible for leading the development of the GFT Group's global business services offering. Since 2015 he personally manages the executive relationships at GFT's most important retail banking clients in Spain and Mexico.

Expertise in strategy and operations

Manuel joined GFT in 2015, following the acquisition of Adesis Netlife, an IT consulting and services company offering integrated digital solutions to banking institutions, which he co-founded in 2000. At Adesis Netlife, Manuel was in charge of company strategy and corporate operations, overseeing a team of nearly 330 people. Prior to founding the company, he worked as a business consultant at Arthur D. Little and as an investment banking analyst at JPMorgan Chase.

 

Manuel holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE Business School).
