Enterprise modernisation is becoming more complex than ever. Organisations are dealing with decades of accumulated technical debt, growing application portfolios and increasing pressure to modernise faster without compromising quality.

To support these challenges, we're introducing Wynxx 3.2, our latest release focused on improving performance, scalability and the overall modernisation experience.

Improving AI-assisted modernisation

Artificial intelligence plays an increasingly important role in accelerating software modernisation, but speed alone is not enough. High-quality outputs remain essential.

With Wynxx 3.2, we've introduced several improvements that increase the accuracy and consistency of AI-assisted modernisation workflows.

New reconciliation mechanisms help align generated code with extracted business rules, while a new domain reconciliation stage reduces post-classification noise during transformation, significantly boosting delivery accuracy. The platform also now supports selecting the target language for extracting business rules, giving teams greater flexibility across multilingual environments.

Together, these improvements help produce more reliable results while reducing manual review effort.

Built for enterprise-scale modernisation

Large modernisation initiatives require tools that can process complex application landscapes without sacrificing speed or transparency.

Wynxx 3.2 introduces significant performance enhancements to support these environments. Improvements to the Legacy Transformer enable faster analysis of large codebases through multi-thread processing, cutting processing time by up to 50%.

Additional dependency analysis capabilities and enhanced progress monitoring with time estimation provide greater visibility throughout long-running transformation processes, helping teams better understand project status and expected completion times.

These enhancements are designed to reduce execution time while improving confidence in large-scale modernisation initiatives.

A better experience for modernisation teams

The latest release also focuses on improving everyday usability.

COMPI is now natively built into the Wynxx sidebar menu, providing centralised, one-click access from anywhere in the platform. Story Creator 2 has been enhanced with the ability to display and copy the initial backlog description directly, and now runs on RabbitMQ for advanced asynchronous processing, supporting more efficient collaboration when working with multiple items simultaneously.

Across the platform, users will also notice improvements to project monitoring, error handling and overall responsiveness. Clearer error messages, an individual retry feature for isolated errors, and enhanced dashboards contribute to a smoother user experience throughout modernisation projects.

Note for Story Creator users: Story Creator 1.0 will no longer be supported starting with Wynxx version 3.5. We recommend teams begin planning their transition to Story Creator 2 to ensure a smooth migration.

Strengthening the platform

Behind the scenes, Wynxx 3.2 includes a wide range of architectural, security and infrastructure improvements.

The platform introduces enhanced scalability through a distributed processing architecture, strengthens role-based security through standardised RBAC with dynamic Keycloak roles, and improves resilience across the ecosystem. On the AI integration side, rigid LLM token validation rules have been replaced with real-time connection tests, extending full compatibility to enterprise AI environments such as LiteLLM on Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock and GCP Vertex AI, including providers whose API keys don't follow legacy formatting conventions.

We also carried out a focused effort to strengthen platform security, including a broad set of CVE patches across Docker images and hardened Kubernetes configurations. Infrastructure upgrades, expanded automated testing, and modernisation of core components, including a migration to .NET 9 and the introduction of structured logging with UUID correlation, further reinforce platform stability.

While many of these improvements remain invisible to end users, they create a stronger foundation for delivering reliable enterprise modernisation projects.

Looking ahead

Modernisation is not a one-time activity. As enterprise environments continue to evolve, the tools supporting them must evolve as well.

Wynxx 3.2 represents another step forward in our commitment to helping organisations modernise legacy applications faster, improve the quality of AI-assisted transformation and support enterprise-scale delivery with greater confidence.

We look forward to continuing this journey and enabling organisations to accelerate modernisation through continuous innovation.
