Stuttgart/Lucerne, 31 January 2017 – GFT Technologies SE, the technology partner for digital transformation in the financial sector, is joining forces with a company that shares its DNA as an innovation thoroughbred: Axon Insight AG, a member of the Axon Active Group. It was Axon Insight who developed the map technology behind Google Maps. Both companies are currently signing a partnership agreement with the goal of collaborating more closely in Germany and Switzerland. They also see major potential in making targeted use of smart data, network intelligence and predictive analytics – aspects central to digital transformation.
“Axon Insight empowers banks and insurance companies to identify potential customers and new business opportunities among existing customers, both quickly and effectively. It takes analysis beyond the realms of the conventional customer base, unveiling real-time network relationships to key decision-makers and thus providing a door opener with all the potential to generate profits. Not only does customer acquisition become more targeted and efficient, so does risk management – and this is especially important given the challenges of digital transformation facing the industry at the moment,” states Daniel Rutishauser, Managing Director of GFT Switzerland.
Exploit business potential more efficiently – optimise risk management
The underlying motivation for the partnership agreement between GFT and Axon Insight is to pool the comprehensive know-how and years of experience already gathered by the two companies in the field of digital solutions. This expertise will be channelled into jointly developed solutions. For example, digital services will be provided to banks and insurance companies for direct introduction into their legacy IT systems. The solution provided by Axon will also be integrated into the Digital Innovation Lab run by GFT. Further areas of collaboration will be joint research projects and customer presentations revolving around open innovation. The two companies will exhibit together for the first time at InsuranceCom on 7 February in Zurich.
“GFT has the right know-how and experience with the industry, processes, and systems integration, and this goes back many years, so it’s the perfect complement to our Axon Insight solution. Together, we’ll be in a position to make banks’ and insurance companies’ marketing and sales campaigns more effective and this will help reduce the risk of doing business. In a nutshell: it will raise competitiveness and make digital transformation a smooth process,” states Almir Adrovic, Head of Business Development at Axon Insight.
