GFT Positioned as a “Major Contender” and “Star Performer” in the Everest Group Open Banking IT Services PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2020

Stuttgart, 30 June 2020 – GFT has been recognised by the analyst firm Everest Group as one of the 20 leading global providers of IT services for Open Banking, according to its PEAK Matrix® report. In addition, GFT has been designated a Star Performer for outstanding progress it made in this sector over the past year.

The PEAK Matrix® reports published by the Everest Group analysed the competitive environment for providers in different categories, evaluating the top providers in each category according to two key criteria: market success and global service capability. For the second, they analysed scalability, service reach, innovation, investment and market presence.

In this year's edition, the Everest Group has recognised GFT as one of the 20 leading global providers of IT services for Open Banking and designated the company a Star Performer for being one of the providers that have demonstrated the greatest progress over the last year in this category...

For GFT open banking is one of the key areas within their offering as it provides significant growth opportunities. In fact, the company has pointed out that over the last year its revenue from this area has significantly increased thanks to new projects in Asia and Europe. The network of agreements and alliances signed in recent months with different API gateway providers and cloud services providers (AWS, GCP and Microsoft Azure) to set up an offering model based on Bank as a Service (BaaS) and Open Banking has been key to improving its positioning. GFT has backed its offering and growth both on its successful experiences with many clients from Asia, Europe and the Americas, as well as accelerators in that space such as Digital Banking Lite and Open Banking framework assets.
