Stuttgart, 25 September - Crises and disruptive events are becoming more frequent. It is difficult for investors to keep track in this volatile environment. Transparent and reliable financial communication is therefore more important than ever. GFT took 3rd place in the SDAX in the renowned "Investors' Darling" capital market competition, marking it as one of the best financial communicators in Germany. The company even improved its overall ranking by 86 places to 20th overall. In addition, GFT was named "Rising Star of the Year".
"We focus on reliability, transparency and long-term relationships in our financial communications as well as in our business. Our investors appreciate this, and the fact that this is honoured at Investors' Darling is a valuable confirmation of the hard work that our entire team puts in every day," said GFT CFO Jochen Ruetz, who accepted the award. Ruetz added: "I am grateful for this great feedback and see it as an incentive to push our capital market communication even further."
As part of the competition, which is organised annually by manager magazin, Berenberg Bank and the HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management, the jury analyses and evaluates the reporting and investor relations activities as well as the capital market performance of the 160 largest German companies from the DAX, MDAX and SDAX indices.
The ranking is based on a comprehensive analysis of companies' capital market communication using several hundred criteria. The dimensions of reporting, investor relations and capital market performance are covered, which is based on the share price development compared to the industry over the last three years as well as a survey of analysts and investors.
