The impact and spread of COVID-19 is keeping us all on edge right now. Let me give you some insights on how GFT is managing the current situation and what this means for you.
First and most importantly, our services remain unchanged and continue as before. We are all working very closely together, providing you with the usual high quality and security standards. There have been no disruptions of services globally and I am sure you would agree we can be proud of the GFT account teams. We even managed to successfully go live with two challenging new projects.
DIGITAL FIRST has always been core to how we run our own company. And with this extreme global situation in recent weeks we have had a chance to prove this.
- We have a solid Cloud infrastructure in place because we moved most of our applications to the Cloud – not just now due to the crisis, but over the past years as part of our business strategy.
- We transferred the entire company, from the Americas to Europe and Asia, to full remote service delivery en bloc and in record time - while still growing client projects.
- We switched about 5,000 employees to working from home within just one week (nearly 95% of the company is working from home now).
That is unprecedented and is only possible with a great cultural fit, reasonably sized teams and short decision making paths.
Supply chains can break, even digital ones – ours doesn't. We transformed ourselves at high speed – and we can do the same thing with you and your company as well! We were able to gather extremely valuable experience in handling the current situation and we are more than happy to pass this on to our valued clients.
