Looking for ideas to shape mobile life
Dear readers,
The CODE_n initiative is looking for the best 50 ideas for digital mobile solutions. These will be presented at CeBIT in Hanover – the world’s leading computer expo – from 6-10 March 2012. Launched in September, this initiative kicks off with the Global Innovation Contest, which provides start-ups, up-and-coming entrepreneurs and IT hotshots with a unique opportunity to present their solutions to an international audience and become part of a global innovation network. Entrants can submit innovations in the fields of hardware, software, services and technology.
Created by GFT, the contest is backed by a string of major partners: Ernst & Young, Fujitsu Technology Solutions, Deutsche Messe, BITKOM and the ZKM Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe. A jury of leading IT experts, academics and business representatives will evaluate the submissions and select the top 50 IT solutions. Internationally renowned artists will spectacularly transform Hall 16 at CeBIT into the perfect setting for the avant-garde of the IT world.
Many of you have now been working with GFT for several years. And you’ve seen for yourselves that we live and breathe our slogan “inspiring IT” every day, in everything that we do. CODE_n is the next step in our dedication to inspiring IT. We want the contest to create
opportunities for new ideas from across the IT world.
As well as showcasing the pioneering spirit of individual entrepreneurs, CODE_n aims to demonstrate the major impact that innovative IT has on our life and work. CODE_n is all about being open to inspiration and welcoming other people’s most innovative ideas. Because for good ideas to become marketable solutions, it takes perseverance, a strong network and the right support – now more than ever.
I’d like to encourage you to support this initiative. You can find out more about CODE_n in the special edition of our newsletter and by visiting www.code-n.org.
Yours sincerely,
Ulrich Dietz
