Hansjörg Widmer (born 1959) has been the Managing Director of GFT Technologies (Switzerland) AG since 2005. Prior to that, he spent ten years as a business consultant with IBM and PricewaterhouseCoopers as a partner to the financial services sector. During his ten years working with the Zuger Kantonalbank (Zug Canton Bank) he received a good grounding in banking – initially in his capacity as an assistant to the management, subsequently as head of the securities processing division and ultimately as Head of Controlling. Hansjörg Widmer graduated in business administration at the University of St. Gallen.
