GFT attended the LPGP Connect CFO/COO Private Equity conference in Miami, where we had the opportunity to gain valuable insights from CFOs, COOs, finance directors and risk and compliance professionals, as well as other leaders within the global private equity sector.

A wide range of topics were discussed, including asset management developments, outsourcing decisions and effective internal communication skills, each of which are necessary for back- and middle-office professionals and the reporting needs of limited partners.

Insights from the LPGP Connect Conference

The the sessions delved into critical subjects such as the impact of AI on private capital. A great deal of interest surrounding AI has allowed GFT, and many like it, to usher in AI solutions such as AI.DA Marketplace, a toolbox that help clients and customers on their AI journey.

Key topic

The upcoming SEC reporting rules that will come into effect in March 2025. Following the conference, GFT learned that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit vacated the entire set of private equity regulations. As well, the LPGP conference featured engaging social events, including GFT’s partner, LemonEdge, which hosted a happy hour full of networking.
