Bringing together the experience of our worldwide teams, it’s a place where you can explore demos and prototypes that simulate real-life environments. In this testing ground, you can explore how new technologies work in real business scenarios.

Whether in person or through virtual sessions, customers can choose between three Lab services:

Experience Lab: focus on innovation methodology, cultural transformation, experience design, customer journeys and design thinking.
Technology Lab: leverage the Lab to evaluate fintech/start-up integration, implement and test newly launched technologies, research technology for specific use cases and learn how to scale it.
Business Lab: the full Lab experience focusing on a specific business topic and the technologies supporting it.

Digital Innovation Lab timeline

2022

The Lab incorporates new devices, including a 3D hologram projector, and various experiences around the GFT metaverse.

At the Industry area, we have implemented a high-tech refrigerator and set up a fully functional AI visual inspection space for customer projects. Furthermore, we have set up a collaboration space with Tickendy, a promising start-up offering a solution to digitise purchase receipts using NFC or photography.

2021

The Lab is extended to accommodate a larger industry area with new gadgets such as wearables, new sensors or a robotic arm
New cryptocurrencies, visual inspection and indoor tracking demos

2020

In COVID times, the Lab continues to operate through digital sessions
New industry area showcasing a connected car, a model factory and DLT-based solutions
