What I Learned in My First Year: Impact Wins. AI Delivers. People Make It Possible.

One year ago, I stepped into the role of Global CEO at GFT Technologies with a clear view of where our industry was heading.

I was convinced that AI would reshape how companies design, build and run their digital systems. This belief guided the development of our new five-year strategy, which was one of the first major steps in my new role. Looking back after a full year in the role, that conviction has only grown stronger.

2025 showed how quickly the shift from traditional IT to truly #AIcentric transformation is taking place. And one theme stands out. Clients no longer debate the potential of AI. They want to use it, and they want to use it fast. Speed, quality, resilience and modernization now define the AI conversation.

AI Modernization Moved From Vision to Execution

Across our global client base, AI became the practical way to operate technology rather than a long-term ambition.

We saw this clearly in banking, where modernization and real-time intelligence shaped competitive advantage. And in insurance, where faster and more reliable software delivery made a direct impact on how products reach customers.

Our genAI product Wynxx played a central role. It expanded into eight countries and consistently delivered measurable gains. Productivity improved by up to 40 percent across the software development lifecycle, and complex work that previously took weeks could be completed in hours.
Clients such as Bradesco Seguros, tier-1 banks and industrial companies used Wynxx to simplify modernization, align development practices and lower operational risk. AI-first software engineering is now becoming a standard expectation rather than an experiment.

Partnerships That Pushed Us Forward

Another defining part of my first year was the strength of our partnerships.

With AWS, we earned the AWS Generative AI Competency, our fifth recognition from the company. This underscored the quality of our work in cloud engineering and AI modernization. These recognitions also reflected real client impact, from regulatory automation at Trust Bank Singapore to major modernization efforts with Itaú Unibanco.

With FICO, we advanced our work in real-time risk management, where AI and data now shape how institutions make decisions and respond to new challenges.

We also continued early exploration in physical AI, where software and autonomy are starting to converge in new ways.

Across these collaborations, the common factor was trust. Clients and partners rely on us because we combine domain knowledge, engineering depth and consistent delivery across regions.

A Stronger Global Platform

This year also strengthened our foundation for the long term.

We expanded our leadership teams across regions, welcomed new senior executives and invested in our global delivery platform from Brazil to India and from Europe to North America.

The acquisition of the SAP specialist Megawork in Brazil deepened our role in the SAP ecosystem and opened new opportunities in data, automation and AI-driven ERP modernization.

Across sales, delivery and engineering, our teams showed the energy, discipline and commitment that define #teamGFT. Their work turned strategic intent into concrete results.

Building Our Brand and Strategic Direction

One of the nine strategic initiatives defined in our five-year strategy was to design and implement the next-generation technology brand, and it is the first one that is already complete. It reflects our identity as an AI-centric company and our ambition to position GFT Technologies as the Global Digital Transformation Challenger.

Our promise is simple. Others talk about AI. We focus on impact.

A Year of Meaningful Milestones

From the Capital Markets Day in Frankfurt and our Investor Roadshow through the USA and Canada to AI-focused events in Berlin, Madrid and São Paulo, from leadership engagements in India to meetings across North America, Europe and Asia, the message from clients, partners and investors alike was consistent.

They expect AI to deliver real transformation, not theoretical promise. They want technology that improves outcomes and leaders who can execute reliably at scale. Wherever I travelled this year, I saw our teams meeting those expectations with focus, expertise and discipline.

Looking Ahead

My first year as Global CEO confirmed why our mission matters and why the next years will shape the future of our industry.

AI is changing how companies operate, innovate and serve their customers. With our focus on AI, cloud modernization, industry expertise and our global talent, we are ready to lead this shift.
Success will come to those who match ambition with execution. That is where GFT will continue to stand.

This year strengthened my belief in our brand and the clarity of our vision. Most of all, it reinforced my confidence in our people. Thank you #teamgft!
