I joined GFT in 2014 as a regular designer. At that time, the UX team worked for one client and in fact, apart from the people in the project, nobody really knew about our existence. But we started to act - and I quickly advanced to the higher levels of the organization. We organized trainings, demos, took part in pre-sales meetings with customers and step by step, doing a grassroot work, we built a brand for UX designers, now visible throughout the whole organization. From the beginning, I had an impact on its creation.

What I particularly value at GFT is the fact that the company is very committed to the development of its people - at various levels. First of all, we can train ourselves team by team - there is a lot of internal and external training, opportunities to participate in conferences and run our own initiatives. There is a budget for this and genuine support from the organization.

We also have several mentoring paths at our disposal - there is a program for leaders, i.e. people aspiring to managerial roles, in which I have had the opportunity to act as a mentor four times already. We also have the Mentoring Program in which I will be a mentor for the second time, and it is a really extraordinary experience - I am very good at this role and I am learning a lot. Participation in someone's development and professional path is very rewarding. The Mentoring Program - although it is, of course, conducted in the interest of the company, focuses primarily on individual achievements of a particular person, on the realization of their personal ambitions and plans. Wherever you are - these experiences will stay with you.

Two years ago, thanks to my own initiatives, involvement in many internal activities and positive feedback from clients, I joined the group of Senior Managers of GFT Poland and today I am the head of the UX team. It took me 3 years to get from regular UX Designer to Head of UX Family and I think my story is a great proof that if you really want to grow, then you will be able to do it at GFT.
